How Do I Care For My Mirror?

Shatterproof Mirrors

All shatterproof mirrors should be cleaned using a soft cloth such as a micro cloth. You can use mild soap and water or an anti-static polish. You are advised not to use glass or window cleaning products or any abrasive cloths. If you are putting one of these mirrors on to a recently painted wall or ceiling, please wait two weeks for the paint to dry out completely. Please also make sure the mirror is put up on a flat surface or distortion may occur.

Glass Mirrors & Handcarved Classic Mirrors

Our glass mirrors and handcarved classic wooden mirrors can be cleaned using a soft cloth or sponge and a glass or window cleaning fluid. Do not use any abrasive materials to clean your mirror.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THE COMPANY

Carlton Publishing and Printing Ltd (“The Company”) trading as sendmeamirror.com®. This document is and shall prevail over any other document or communication.

ORDERING

Orders may be placed by telephone, post, fax or on-line. You can call us during office hours from 9.00-17.00 GMT Monday to Friday + 44 (0)1923 800801. We are committed to maintaining the privacy of our customers. Your personal details will remain strictly confidential and we will not disclose your information to any third parties. We may at times contact you, by post, telephone or email, regarding special offers or with other relevant information. If you do not wish to be contacted at all, please let us know and you will be removed from our database.

While we have done our best to protect your personal information, we can not completely guarantee this as the internet is not 100% secure and there is always a slight risk that your personal information will be obtained.

TRADEMARK & COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

sendmeamirror is a registered trademark and all material including all images our subject to copyright law. You will need our permission to use any material from our website or any of our other marketing material. We take copyright / trademark infringement very seriously and will not hesitate to take legal action if necessary. We also have the right to revoke use of any of our materials at any time.

DELIVERY

a) Any time or date for delivery stated by the Company shall be treated as an estimate only. No liability can be accepted by the Company for failure to deliver within any specific time period. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including consequential loss or loss of profit) arising directly or indirectly from any delay in the delivery of all or any of the goods howsoever caused.

b) The Company shall accept no liability for shortages or damage to goods unless the Customer reports the damage at the time of delivery.

DELIVERY AND PAYMENT OF SHATTERPROOF MIRRORS

All Shatterproof Mirrors will be sent by royal mail 1st class recorded delivery, unless you have stated and paid for a special delivery or other method of Delivery. Our aim is to deliver your order within 7 working days after receipt of payment, subject to stock availability. A valid signature will be required on delivery. The Company accepts all major credit cards. (Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Solo). Full payment is required at the time of purchase.

Payment is through our secure server. You will receive an e-mail to confirm your order is being processed. If you are paying by cheque the goods will not be dispatched until after your cheque has cleared. You can also order over the telephone, please call +44 (0)1923 800801. We will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible if there are any problems with the dispatch of your order. Delivery Charges & Delivery Time

1st Class, Recorded Delivery (Signed for) £2.99 per item.

DELIVERY AND PAYMENT OF GLASS MIRRORS

All Handcarved Classic Wooden Mirrors & Glass Mirrors will be delivered by courier. We will dispatch your mirror order within 28 working days of the order being placed. We can not tell you the exact day of delivery, but the courier, if you are not in, will leave you a card, you can then phone them and arrange a mutually agreeable day for delivery of your mirror(s). Please note: we only deliver these mirrors within the UK & Ireland. The same payment terms apply as stated for the shatterproof mirrors. The normal delivery charge is £35 + VAT.

Returns Policy

We hope you are satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may return it in perfect condition in the original packaging and within 30 days. We will then arrange to exchange the product or make a refund. Please note any refunds will not include postage, packaging or courier charges. The customer is also responsible for any return shipment charges.

All returns must have a returns number. Please contact our Customer Services Department in order to receive your returns number on +44 (0)1923 800801.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS

No order placed by the Customer shall be deemed to be accepted by the Company, until the Company issues a final acceptance e-mail of the order to the Customer. All orders are fulfilled subject to these terms and conditions of sale, unless otherwise varied by an agreement in writing. Please note that colours and finishes shown on our web site are approximations. Actual colours and finishes may vary.

PRICES

Prices are correct at time of going to press/uploading on web site. Goods are invoiced at the prices ruling at the time of acceptance of an order. Charges are made for all delivery options except where detailed otherwise. The Company reserves the right to modify prices in respect of orders which have not been accepted.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the event that the Company is prevented from carrying out its obligations as a result of any cause beyond its control such as, but not limited to Acts of God. War, Strikes, Lock-outs, Flood and Failure of third parties to deliver goods, the Company shall be relieved of its obligations and liabilities for as long as such fulfilment is prevented.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

Current website items on non-custom-made goods, unused, undamaged and fully marketable, may be returned and the order cancelled (for any reason) within 14 days of delivery with the prior agreement of the Company. Returned goods must be in their original packing. Please Note: Individual Custom made safety mirrors can not be returned or cancelled. For products returned the Customer shall be responsible for all costs and expenses (including any insurance) of returning the goods to the original despatch point.

The Customer’s payment will be returned within 30 days, subject only to deduction of any direct costs of transport and insurance incurred by the Company in relation to the original shipping and return of the goods upon receipt of the goods and inspection as to their suitability for re-sale. Orders for custom-made goods may only be cancelled if work on the product has not yet begun.

THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY

a) The Company shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any indirect or consequential loss howsoever caused.

b) The Company’s liability in respect of breach or non-performance of any order shall be limited to the invoiced value to which the claim relates.

c) Goods are not tested or sold as fit for any particular purposes or for use under any specific conditions.

d) Subject as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, and except where the goods are sold to a person dealing as a consumer (within the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), all warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

e) Where the goods are sold under a consumer transaction (as defined by the Consumer Transactions (Restrictions on Statements) Order 1976) the statutory rights of the Customer are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.

CONTRACT LAW

Purchases on the web or over the telephone are made from Carlton Publishing and Printing Ltd trading as sendmeamirror.com. The company is a UK company with registered address at Unit 2, Wenta Business Centre, Colne Way, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD24 7ND. Registration No: 2929199. Customers accept that by dealing with the Company they agree to the Terms and Conditions contained in this website and that any contract formed with the Company will be a contract under the subject to the laws of England whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in the determination of any disputes.

VAT

All our mirrors are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

By visiting our site and placing an order you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, which are interpreted in accordance with English Law.
